"We Were Liars" - By E. Lockhart

There is a certain beautiful urgency that comes from renting a book from the library. You have a deadline. You must finish the book before then, which is exactly what I was doing yesterday afternoon.

Instead of my usual power nap, I was powering through We Were Liars.

It was painless - until the shocking twist at the end. It was addictive, and it was beautifully written, like poetry.

Follow Me On Bloglovin'

It has been my experience, as I’ve been feverishly flipping through teen blog after teen blog (instead of studying), that Bloglovin is somewhat obnoxious, asking you again and again, would you like to follow this blog? You don’t follow this blog. Do you want to? Do ya- do ya- do ya??
I don’t plan on making it that obnoxious on my site. But my thoughts were, ManI gotta get myself on Bloglovin!
Mission success.
Follow my blog with Bloglovin

P.S. I will be adding all of my blogs onto the site individually. It requires I do that as proof that I'm the writer.

"The Devil Wears Prada" - By Lauren Weisberger

The Devil Wears Prada was pleasantly surprising, I have to say.

I didn't really know what to expect. I'd seen the movie plenty of times before, so I guess I was expecting to read the movie.

If somehow you don't know, The Devil Wears Prada is a story about a girl named Andy Sachs, who takes the job as an assistant to the high-profile, Miranda Priestly, editor of Runway, a fashion magazine. Andy knows nothing about fashion, and doesn't care. She sees the job as a ticket to get into any magazine or publication of her choice, and that's what's important to her.

What she doesn't know is that "the job a million girls would die for" might just kill her in the process.
